Trail Riders Restaurant in Eagar

Short version: WOW! We visited family in Springerville and we usually go to Booga Red's when we grab a meal out of the house. We hit Trailriders and boy, were we impressed!We ate several meals here over the holiday weekend and were never disappointed in the quality of food. We tried something from all areas of the menu and breakfast / lunch / dinner. Each time the entire family agreed that it was well worth it. Prices are very reasonable, and cheap when you look at the amount of food you get. There's a reason they call their burritos "burros" and if you don't plan to put away a lot of food, you should plan to split these things. Their chicken fried steak was amaaaaazing, and their red and green sauce are both really good (my preference is green).We totally plan to hit them up again the next time we're in town.

Great comfort food and very reasonably priced. The mexican food is some of the best I've had in Arizona. I really recommend the pancakes with the homemade buttermilk syrup!

Worth driving to. Great food. Great, friendly service. Definitely coming back.

This is a very good place to eat! Had dinner last night the ribeye was excellent. Breakfast the next morning another great meal. Staff is super nice and food is really good. Great Job Trailriders more establishments should take some notes.

Maybe I was just really hungry but I had the hatch green chile burger with Pepper jack and it was amazing

Good food. The waitress seemed eager to get us out, place wasn't that full. Ticket given halfway through meal, didn't even ask if wanted dessert.

Best top sirloin we've had in a long while. My wife and I ordered a bowl of soup each, the Hatch Corn crowder, and it was so good on a chilly Sunday afternoon. We split the 12oz sirloin because we wanted to have dessert. We've been in before and have been served by Erin. She's quick with a genuine smile and serves us like she's really happy we stopped by. 3 stars? This one was a hard one. The food was amazing however the service is something that needs to improve. I wasn't upset it was almost comical. It took the young man 3 times to get my drink order rights. Unsweet Ice tea without lemon.1st I got sweet tea with lemon, 2nd time after waiting 3 mins he came back and asked "what did you want again" I got sweet tea without lemon. the 3rd time I didn't wait I walked up to the group of young people in the corner and asked for an Unsweet tea without lemon, I think what I got was water but it was a little tanish so I'm not 100% sure, even in a red glass it seems almost clear. I know its Grandutions week but come on 3 times to get a somewhat right drink order?

Had the tamale dinner. The green corn tamales were delicious. Some of the best mexican food anywhere around.

The food was decent. I had tacos... Not in the top 200 I've ever had, but I choked them down. The service was adequate, not exceptional. The prices were good and the environment was fine. I'd say don't bring your girlfriend here to propose, but if you're hunting in the area, or it's late and you are hungry... Go ahead.

Good service, fresh salad bar although needs more selections (there were no onions , bell pepper, cucumber, spinach, mushrooms among the things I like not present). I had the rib basket special. Very tasty but a bit dry. But in full disclosure we ate near closing time.

Absolutely love their juicy burgers. And the triple chocolate mousse was delicious.

We have the ribeye it was absolutely amazing. The baked potato was equally amazing. Resetting the bar and at the absolute worst tableside service. But if you're looking for a good place to eat we were here on business for two days and they are both days. Absolutely amazing forward

Well everyone told us this was the best restaurant in Egar and now we know! Trailriders Family Restaurant provided us with a great dining experience. My husband had an excellent prime rib and I had the salad bar (I enjoyed sharing his prime rib 😉). But jalapeno corn chowder was wonderful along withthe fresh, homemade bread. Our waitress, Kylee, said that she asked to be scheduled on days when it was on the menu - it's that good!

The Big Buck Platter was great and the coffee was really good. The service was fast and very friendly.

Had a chimichanga meal. It was more than I could possibly eat, but delicious. This place also serves authentic Hatch chilis. Service was good. Way better than expected for a small town eatery.

Trail riders is always good. Waitress' are always friendly and attentive. Never had a bad meal here.

The food was excellent, and at a great price. The restaurant was clean, the waitstaff friendly and knowledgeable. My husband had the salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes and salad, and I had a veggie burger and salad. Fresh, hot bread and butter was served with our meal. We even ordered dinner to go. Too bad we are just passing through, or this would definitely be our new favorite restaurant!

Good food. Waitress knew what was in the sauces and gave appropriate knowledge when having to deal with dietary restrictions. Very good service.

Fantastic food and Service! We had Trailblazers Strawberry Mule and a White Baja to drink—both were awesome. My husband and I shared a sampler platter with ranch dressing. This dish had my favorite fried jalapeño slices and mushrooms among other things. The plate came out nice and hot! Our main dish was beef fajitas with chipotle ranch, oh my! Everything was great! We have marked it down as a place to return when we come back to Greer!

If your head towards the White mountains this restaurant is a must stop. I promise the service and food will not disappoint. Wish I could stay longer.

Probably the best restaurant in town. Had breakfast there. Was absolutely delicious and huge portion size. I can recommend this place.I was there on Monday 8/10/20 but the place is closed for renovations. Call before you go there if they are still closed.

Yummy, yummy goodness can be found at Trailriders! The food was very good, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent.I really enjoyed the fall decorations throughout the restaurant, it really warmed up the atmosphere nicely. Very festive.The menu has a large variety, from old time favorites such as liver and onions, to trendy fish or shrimp tacos, to new creations such as Jalapeno Bottle Tops... so delicious.We really enjoyed our meal and plan to make additional visits. I must apologize that the food in most of my pictures is half eaten...it was so good and I was hungry.

Stopped for lunch, it's a little hard to see from the road due to its brown wood sign. Ordered the French dip with onion rings and hamburger. The French dip was great, the onion rings were cooked just right. The hamburger was the best I every had. Cooked perfect and the bed was fresh.

Great location, fast friendly service, clean, well lit, not too loud. They have a separate bar side from the restaurant but the service was still awesome. My husband had the all you can est fish and he wouldn't stop raving about it and he is usually super picky about fried fish. The beers were cold and the prices reasonable. Plus we got a 10% discount for staying at the best western hotel next door.

The breakfast burrito is large, we had it without hash browns, the Hatch green chili sauce is one of the best outside of Hatch. Coffee is good.

I got the beef enchiladas! Oh my goodness! They were soooo amazing! I will be coming back! I defiantly had a great birthday dinner. The staff were amazing and the service was really good. I was really surprised with the prices too!! Very good first impression!

This is my spot every time I go back home. Huge variety of food! Everything is awesome from staff, atmosphere, food and vibe. Green and red chile...get you some!
